Hotel des COLONIES is one of the oldest continuously operated hotels in Brussels, and it has been offering warm hospitality for nearly 100 years now. 
During the War the hotel was successively occupied by the German, English and American militaries. The last military occupants (the Americans) found the location so pleasant, that they renovated it. Especially the lobby, the breakfast room, the old restaurant and all of the rooms at the back of the building were completely renovated.
During the past ten years, the management of the hotel has continued with the renovation of the rooms, which have been equipped with all the luxuries possible.
When you enter the hotel, the first surprise is in the warm welcome and the graciousness of interiors mellowed by time. Such sensations, when combined with the full range of modern comfort and the services of our friendly and multilingual staff, are certain to ensure an unforgettable stay. The hotel offers a laundry service, conference and bar facilities.
We take pride in accommodating our guests in advanced facilities while preserving the setting's historic allure. Our hotel has been totally renovated in 2002 and refurbished with all modern conveniences. 
The 95 rooms including 1 junior suite offering comfort and quietness, have been thoroughly redesigned and equipped with fine furniture and expanded amenities. You will appreciate this tasteful combination of yesterday's charm and today's modern comfort
All rooms have a private bathroom with bath or shower, private phone, color television with many channels (English, French, Dutch, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese…) and also Pay TV (disabled on request). 
The hotel offers single, double and twin bedded rooms (smoking and non-smoking). There is also the possibility of adding a rollaway bed in some rooms (extra cost).
